Our company has continuously operated since 1998. Originally founded as Virtual Town Hall in Portland, Maine, we provide online services and applications to the municipal market. In 2008, the corporate headquarters was moved to Maynard, Massachusetts though we still maintain our primary hosting operation in Time Warner's Data Center in Portland. In 2009, we acquired Learning Networks, a similar company providing online services to the public and private K-12 markets. In 2010, our name was formally changed to Virtual Towns & Schools.
Today, our clients include cities, towns, villages, counties, school districts, private schools, libraries, utilities, public safety departments and municipal associations. To a degree in all industries, but especially in the government sector, your level of client satisfaction determines your long term success or failure. Our ability to consistently exceed our clients' expectations has allowed us to rapidly expand our client base and now support well over 300 municipal clients and dozens of K-12 clients, principally throughout the Northeast.
Offering services, such as, website design, content development, user training, QA, and consulting, we've become a staple in the public and private sector.
