Voices for the Lord

Voices for the Lord is a Christian music program for students, at-risk youth, and struggling individuals. It seeks to provide disadvantaged youth and adults with opportunities to develop and share their musical abilities through instrument lending, music education, worship services, fundraising concerts, recording, and music production. Central to the program will be its focus on the true meaning of worship, spiritual formation, character formation, and servant leadership.

As Christians, worship is vital for our spiritual needs. God has created us for worship (Psalm 150). Worship helps us to establish an intimate relationship with God (Psalm 22:3), to usher in God’s Spirit, and to overcome adversity (2nd Chronicles 20-21). Worship also renews our spirit and provides us with comfort, strength, and healing. Unfortunately, many with a high calling for worship do not always have the means to cultivate and share their gifts with the body of Christ. With the combined generosity of our Christian community, we can advance the Kingdom of God by supporting and guiding upcoming generations of worship artists and ministers who may not realize their call without our support.
