Medical office specializing in pain management for people with moderate to severe chronic pain.
According to an article from the American Medical Association and the American Nurses Association last year 70 MILLION people suffer from intractable chronic pain. Some to the point where their quality of life is almost non-existent. People don't need to and shouldn't have to suffer. Pain is the #1 reason people go to the doctor and is the #1 reason people miss work. Through many methods of pain relief including injections, surgery and pain medication, people can get relief and rejoin the living again.
There is a huge problem with prescription drug abuse in this country that has to be addressed but that issue cannot interfere with someone's right to pain relief. Under close observation a person can get relief and not cross over into the hell of addiction. We are trying to help people realize that just because they are on pain medication it doesn't make them a drug addict or "pill head." The AMA and ANA stated chronic pain must be recognized and treated. Pain medication is just one of many we utilize or refer for.
