Vought's Happy Goat Ranch and Rescue

To all of you who view this page, a little about our goats. Gyro was our first rescue. His original name was Butt-Butt. We were being a little silly one day and decided to rename him. We wanted a male and female to start our own herd. We went to a local restaurant and seen Gyros on the menu and the name hit us and it stuck for him. We then purchased the female and thought we could make cheese from the milk. Her name became Feta. We received a call one day from a woman who took care of an elderly man who could no longer care for his goat. Cheeto, originally named Itty-Bitty, was our next rescue. He got his name because the woman treated him with Cheetos Cheese Puffs. And finally, we rescued Buddy, who was a little buddy, and is the younger brother to Gyro. So, we have 2 male billys, 1 male wether, and a nanny. We are looking to get 2 more females in the spring and start our own herd with mating the nannys. Hopefully by the fall, we will have some babies to watch and report on.
