Vuka

Vuka is a community hub in the heart of Austin, Texas, providing curated space for people to gather, connect, and create. Half of the warehouse is utilized as a gathering space for fundraisers, weddings, community events, workshops, launch parties, film and video production, and more.

The other half, soon to be known as Impact Hub Austin at Vuka, is utilized as a coworking/shared workspace for freelancers, social entrepreneurs and small businesses supporting each other in doing their best work.

Vuka is a Zulu word which means "to awaken," and we are in the business of supporting people in their mission in the world, whether it's opening up their own small businesses, signing on new clients for their freelancing endeavors, raising funds to help those in need, or marrying the ones they love. We are fed by the act of supporting others as they thrive in their lives and in their missions in the world.
