Waddy Volunteer Fire Department

The Waddy Fire Department meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm. We welcome anyone who may be interested in serving their community to come see what we are about. We respond to a variety of emergencies in Waddy and surrounding areas in the Southeast part of Shelby County. We often team up with East 60 Fire Department for training and mutual aid. Our department is made up of local citizens with a desire to serve their community. In addition to volunteering their time to become Firefighters, many have made the commitment and received training to be Emergency Medical Responders and Emergency Medical Technicians or EMT's. If you would like to join our team, please come fill out an application and meet our team. We provide all of the training and equipment you need, you just provide your time.
