Hosted by the Pittsford Carriage Association, Inc. the international Walnut Hill Driving Competition transforms the area just south of Pittsford Village into a country fair, attracting thousands of spectators to enjoy close to 100 various competition classes from simple single pony carts and American miniature horses to the splendor of formal road coaches. As the world’s largest carriage competition of its kind, approximately 100 competitors hail from more than a dozen states as well as from Canada, all in celebration of the contributions of horse and carriage to America’s history. 2016 dates are August 10-14.
