They have incorporated a number of features in the construction of ProGreen turf that really sets it apart from all others; here are a few:

1. We use a custom stitch pattern and tufting gauge. These two features working together produce a perfectly engineered turf that will provide excellent uniform traction while “giving” just a little to protect against ankle and knee injuries.
2. We add a very thick layer of urethane backing to a double layer of geo-textile primary backing on our turf. The urethane is applied as a liquid and molds the primary backing material and the fiber/yarn together to prevent tuft/fiber loss under heavy stress. We challenge you to test our turf against any other. Use a power drill with a steel brush to see for yourself!
3. We do not stitch seams, or use commercial glue. We use a proprietary two part glue that was developed specifically for the demands of sports fields. This is a much stronger method of seaming and will last virtually forever!

If you choose to install the turf yourself, we have all products available for your needs. It comes with the turf of your choice, all accessories, and complete detailed step by step instructions that are very simple to follow. You can install the grass yourself, supervise hired labor to do it for you, hire a landscaper, or, hire a “handyman”; there is no "rocket science” necessary! Doing the installation yourself will save you a lot of money vs. a contractor installation (please call for more specifics).
