Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps

Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps was founded in 1956 by Homer K. Moore as a means for transport for the residents of Wantagh and Levittown. We provide emergency care on our ambulances staffed with Advanced Life Support providers and are 9-1-1 responders. We have volunteers trained from CPR to the level of Paramedic providing emergency care to our communities.

We are funded entirely through donations from the communities and by soft billing your insurance for our services. You will never receive a bill from us. We accept what your insurance pays. If you have no insurance, our services are free.

If you call 9-1-1 between the hours of 7pm to 7am Monday through Thursday and from Friday 7pm to Monday 7am, we will respond and take care of you and your loved ones. You can also call (516) 742-3300 to talk to our dispatcher any time, any day to receive our services.
