Fire & EMS Career Exploring is a hands-on program open to young men and women from 14 to 20 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of fire or emergency services.

• Wildland Firefighter / Forest Ranger / Smokejumper
• Aircraft Rescue and Firefighter (ARFF)
• Fire/Arson Investigator
• Fire Inspector / Code Enforcement

• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• Paramedic
• Technical Rescue (TR)
• Search and Rescue (SAR)
• Hazardous Materials (HazMat)
• Urban Search and Rescue (USAR)
• Fire / EMS Dispatcher

Fire & EMS Career Exploring combines classroom lessons with hands-on training. You get to experience firsthand what it’s like to be a firefighter, emergency medical technician, and so much more!
