Working Landscapes

Working Landscapes is a non-profit organization based in Warrenton, NC. Currently, our organization is working to build the vitality of our region’s food and agricultural economy. To do this, we have created a Warren County Food Hub. The Food Hub is comprised of two facilities:

1. The Warren County Produce Center, located on the site of a former flour mill and cotton gin, is where local produce is stored, chopped, and bagged for delivery to regional schools and other customers. The Produce Center was established in partnership with Warren County government.

2. A community kitchen, store, eatery, shared-use kitchen, and gathering space located in a historic commercial building on Warrenton’s Main Street. This space, formerly known as Warren FoodWorks, houses Lloyd's Bakery as its anchor tenant. When the kitchen is not in use by Lloyd's, it is available to other food entrepreneurs.
