What led to the Formation?

The members of the HCMI Board of Directors (click here to see list of our Board Members) has individually devoted years of being proactive in various facets of helping our youth. In the past, they have done so in their individual ways but also in concert with each other. Helping to learn new things and the right way to achieve success for the oncoming generations to be motivated in the preservation of America: America, the great and beautiful. Our Board of ten (10) memberswants to hand the gauntlet/baton (why and how America has become the country that it is, what did past generations do) to new generations so they have a rock solid foundation base of facts to carry our country's banner forward. Each of the board members brings a special dedication and expertise into HCMI as each member is striving to make their input meaningful to the whole, so the full force of synergism can prevail. Each board Member is proud to share in the presentation of HCMI information for the education of our future.

The HCMI wants to establish two (2) viaible entities: 1) a permanent museum location for public access, and 2) a mobille museum. The permanent building will have a state-of-the-art meeting/classroom (IMax-type) containing modern technology where teachers and students can have real time interactive question and answer sessions. School teachers will be able to coordinate displays to in order to coincide with their current curriculum.. It is also the desire of HCMI to be able to show the students the various classic movies and support documentation in an IMAX-type theater. A planetarium is planned to allow students to study the constellations.

The Museum will be equipped with a gift shop that will house quality replicas, posters, books, etc.. The proceeds will go directly back into the Museum.

There will be established programs wherby students can learn about many facets of having a quality museum, of participating in reenactments, online courses, clubs, etc. A well defined training program will be conducted for the pupils. HCMI plan to have an aggressive program to obtain additional artifacts for display in order to improve the quality and the breadth of the displays (click to go to Support Page).

HCMI wants to be the epicenter for community activities as they relate to Armistice Day, D-Day, VE-Day, VJ-Day.
