Wasabi is New York’s first fast-casual, grab-and-go traditional Japanese sushi and bento dining destination specializing in individually wrapped sushi, sushi sets, hot and cold Japanese bento, chirashi sushi, noodle soups, salads, Japanese tea, and traditional beverages.

Wasabi was founded in 2003 in London by Dong Hyun Kim. Since opening his first location, Mr. Kim has expanded the Wasabi brand to 40 locations throughout the UK. 561 7th Avenue will be Wasabi’s first US location, but not its last.
