It is the goal of Watauga County Parks and Recreation to provide quality programming to all the citizens of the community.

We believe programs should be enjoyable, fun, safe, fulfilling, and rewarding. Recreational opportunities should emphasize participation for enjoyment, self understanding, self discipline, team work, and sportsmanship, The primary purpose of programs is for youth and adults to reach their full potential through complete participation in recreational activities.

Watauga County Parks and Recreation strives to prepare youth for adulthood and the enhancement of overall quality of life for all Watauga County Citizens.
