Water Components was established in 1986 as a division of an international firm that specialized in the design and engineering of water features and related projects. This division sourced and procured mechanical packaging and related supplies for projects worldwide. In 1994, Water Components & Building Supply, Inc. was incorporated as a separate entity, with an office and yard in Sausalito, California. WCBS continued to provide mechanical packages for large commercial projects, focusing on hotels, hospitals, airports and aquariums. In 1996, WCBS relocated to San Rafael and expanded its operations to include underground materials, erosion control, drainage, and associated products. Water Components has built its reputation on outstanding customer service and its staff's ability to find and obtain any product, anywhere.
