Waterfront Playhouse & Conservatory

Waterfront Conservatory is a professional actors training program.
We train actors in a core curriculum of Meisner Acting Technique, Linklater Voice Technique, Movement for Actors, and the Feldenkrais Method in an aesthetic that champions truthful work. We provide an artistic home in which actors pursue the serious study of their craft, necessary to the performance of cutting-edge work, and vital to bringing the writer’s vision to life.
Every level of experience is welcome to apply to the Waterfront Conservatory. Commitment to work, punctuality, and discipline are an absolute requirement. At this time, we accept applications from actors over 18 years old.





Deeply influenced by her training with Sanford Meisner and Larry Moss, Waterfront Playhouse artistic director and founder Rachael Adler inspires in her actors a fearless approach to their journeys in the craft as well as their lives. She emboldens them with the skills and confidence necessary to pursue meaningful careers as truthful and powerful actors.
