Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 8:00 (Praise Service) and 10:30 (Traditional Service), Sunday School at 9:15, and Bible Studies on Sunday evenings at 6:00.

At Watsontown United Methodist Church, we seek to Know Christ, to Grow in Christ, and to Go out and be like Christ.

We don't have it all together; we each have questions, doubts, fears, and concerns, and we welcome yours here. Walk with us as we journey together in authentic community, worship, and study together to grow in faith. Join us as we come together to serve others, and to seek God’s presence in our lives, in our community, and in our world.

We are a church that strives and study to know our God and our Savior, and to seek fellowship with others, and to grow in these relationships. We host a number of vibrant Bible Study, Sunday School, and other discipleship groups for all ages throughout each week. We also sponsor the best Preschool program in the Susquehanna Valley (if we may say so) - Happy Harbor Preschool.

We are a church that seeks to serve our community in tangible ways. We minister caring programs, such as Joseph's Closet (monthly clothing bank hosted at our 3rd Street property), Shepherd's Kitchen (monthly community meal hosted at our 8th Street Drive facility), Kids' Cafe (summer lunch program for young people), and many more. Our congregation sends dozens of its members out to the mission field outside of the local area - several have gone to Haiti, and many young people to West Virginia.

We are a church that takes the Great Commission and related teachings seriously. Our annual Vacation Bible School is one of the most vibrant and well-attended in the area, and brings the Gospel to many who do not encounter it otherwise. Our church doors are open and our members are active in our community, shining the light of Christ and spreading the Good News in their daily lives.

We are a church that seeks authenticity: in our relationships with each other, with our faith, and with our community. We are not perfect; we are far from it. But, as the Apostle Paul repeated frequently in his writings, and as John Wesley, the originator of our Methodist tradition sought as his goal, we press on toward perfection, not because we will attain it in this life - and certainly not on our own, but because it is found only in Christ, whom we seek with all that we are.
