Watsonville Music Program Youth Chorus

WMP Youth Chorus is a performing group supported by a non-profit foundation and hosted by Watsonville First United Methodist Church. The chorus meets 45 weeks per year. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings - 3rd - 5th graders, 3:30 - 4:30 & 6th - 12th graders, 4:45 - 6:00. There is flexibility about placement.

A very wide variety of music is learned and performed. Rehearsals include instruction in music fundamentals and vocal techniques and always have a healthy dose of fun thrown in!

Singers gain music training as well as connections to students coming from other schools and cultures.

Performance experiences are carefully chosen to ensure that each student feels comfortable and gains in poise and confidence.
