Waverly Church of the Nazarene

We believe in one God-the-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the Divine Word of God, given for us to believe and live for God.

We believe that man is born in sin, that on our own no one is good enough, and as such we are in need of a Savior to pay the penalty for our sin.

We believe that everyone has the opportunity to choose to believe in Jesus, and that those who do not believe have no hope in this life or eternity.

We believe that Jesus’ death and resurrection on the cross is for everyone, and that whoever believes in Him receives His Spirit, forgiveness and life direction.

We believe that we are to follow Jesus’ example through the deep work of His Spirit so that we can be Holy like He is!

We believe that God is coming back, that those who believe in Him will live forever with Him, it is our responsibility to tell others about Him.
