WCU Alumni Association

The Western Carolina University Alumni Association was formed in 1893. Today’s association strives to meet the following purposes:

- to further the ideals and aims of the university,
- to augment the revenues of the university,
- to strengthen its programs of teaching, research, and service, and
- to promote the general welfare of Western Carolina University through a strong alumni association.

Official Rules for WCU Alumni Association Social Media Contests:

Contests on the WCU Alumni Association Facebook page are open to the campus and community (unless otherwise noted - Decades Challenge contests are for alumni only). You must be 18 or older to play. All contests are run exclusively by WCU and are not associated with any social media application. If the contest requires competitors to reply in a comment or like the post, comments and likes must be made on the WCU Alumni Association platform to be eligible to win. Comments or likes made on shared posts unfortunately will not be eligible to win. "First-person to answer" contest winners are determined by the time the comment was made by the first person to answer correctly. Winners will be contacted via the social media platform on which the contestant entered to collect their winnings.
