Founded in 1926, Webster Memorial Baptist has an abundant history in serving the communities of Lakeland, Florida. It is our mission to be committed to excellence in every aspect of our lives, so to glorify and represent Christ to the world.

The Bible tells us that the world will know we are Christ’s disciples by the way we have love for our brethren and by our works. We believe it is of utmost importance to care for our brothers and sisters in Christ and to remain in fellowship with them. Therefore, we are committed to putting Christ first, strengthening and uplifting the body of believers, and then ministering to the community.

We minister to people of all ages, ethnicities, and abilities with the love of Jesus Christ. One of our goals as a body of believers is to minister to those who are afflicted with physical or mental disabilities through our Special Ministry services. It is an honor to be surrounded by people who teach us so much through their trust in the Lord and the joyful spirit they share, even under difficult circumstances. We also offer ministries to adults, women, youth/teens, children, and nursery ages. Our focus isn’t on programs or productions, but rather equipping believers with the Truth, encouraging them to continue growing in their salvation, and giving them the tools they need to share Christ with others.
