Weldon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kern County, California, United States. It sits at the southeast tip of Lake Isabella. Weldon is located 9mi east-southeast of Wofford Heights, at an elevation of 2654 feet (809 m). The name honors William B. Weldon, a cattle rancher.
