Well Below Zero Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy has been used since 1978 and is becoming increasingly popular due to it's many health and beauty benefits. Cryotherapy is when a person is exposed to subzero temperatures (-150°F to -300°F) for a short period of time (between one and three minutes). The temperatures are achieved by cooling the air with liquid nitrogen vapor.

Whole body Cryotherapy works by triggering the release of endorphins. This helps with pain relief, reducing inflammation, muscle soreness and has been known to help several skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.

Cryotherapy has also been known for it's anti aging benefits, ability to help boost metabolism and also helping to boost immune systems.

When a client comes in for their first appointment they will meet with one of our employees to go over any medical history and set goals for what they want to achieve with the therapy. The client then will go into one of our 3 changing rooms and will get into their bathing suit (recommended). We will provide a full length robe to will be worn into the sauna. The client then put one the cryo boots and gloves that we provide and will enter the sauna. They will be assisted by a staff member the entire time, the total time in the machine is 2-3 minutes. After therapy, we ask that each client do a warm up on a stationary bike for 10 minutes.This will push the highly oxygenated blood from the core back to the rest of the body. The warm up speeds the process of feeling refreshed and ensures that everyone feels great before they walk out of the door. Total time of therapy is 15 minutes.
