Wentzville School District

The purpose of the Wentzville School District’s Facebook and Twitter accounts is to
share information with our community and facilitate two-way communication and an
ongoing dialogue about our schools and our students. We encourage your comments;
your ideas and concerns are important to ensure that a broad range of stakeholders are
active and informed participants in the discussion. The Wentzville School District
reserves the right to modify this policy at any time and expressly reserves the right to
remove postings from its pages if postings violate the Acceptable Use Guidelines,
below, or are generally inconsistent with the established purpose of the page.
The Wentzville School District expects that participants will treat each other, as well as
our District, our employees, and our students with respect. Postings may be removed if
they fall into any of the follow categories:

Contain or link to vulgar or abusive language/graphics, personal attacks of
any kind, or offensive terms that target any protected class or group
Promote services or products (non-commercial links that are relevant to the
post or comment are acceptable)
Are unrelated to the purpose of the District’s page, or are clearly “spam”,
including duplicate posts
Reference employees, school board members/candidates, or students by
name or other personally identifiable information, including photographs
Break the law, including possible violations of copyright and fair use laws
Pose the risk of a substantial and material disruption in the educational
environment.

To protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, please do not include personally
identifiable information, such as name, Social Security number, addresses, phone
numbers or email addresses in the body of your comment.
