Weslaco: Movies at the Park

Beginning on Friday, June 7, 2013, I, Martin Garcia Jr will be teaming up with the City of Weslaco Parks and Recreations Department and Knapp Medical Center to host our “2nd Annual Movie at the Park Summer Series”, which will be held at Weslaco City Park of City of Weslaco.

This Summer Series consist of nine movies being projected on a large projector screen built on a flat bed trailer every Thursday starting in June, and ending the first week of August.

This project was proposed to the City of Weslaco Parks and Recreations Department to encourage the families of our community, and neighboring communities to participate in free festivities available in the summer for children while out of school.

BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS AND BLANKETS!

A concession stand will be available for the purchase of drinks, candy, and popcorn!
