West Central Ohio Veterinary Emergency Service

Until now, most veterinary clinics in this area either triaged their own emergencies or covered each other's emergencies in a rotation. Often crucial time would be wasted getting in contact with an on-call veterinarian. Also, with staffing and time limitations, animals would not always receive the around the clock monitoring frequently needed.

You can count on us to care for your pet when your regular day clinic isn't open. Our hours are:
Monday through Thursday 6 PM to 8 AM
Friday 6 PM through Monday 8 AM
Weekends and Holiday are 24 hours


Presently, 12 of the local veterinarians have joined together to establish a care center to provide complete after-hours veterinary care for sick and injured animals in the Lima and surrounding areas.

Our care center will provide after-hour services such as emergency examinations with no appointments needed, continued critical care and monitoring on admitted and transferred pets, digital radiography, ultrasound, anesthesia, surgery, in-house blood work, and fluid therapy.

Our staff includes veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians. All are experienced in emergency medicine and will be ready to assist you when most veterinary clinics are closed.
