We are Christians who worship God in spirit and truth as John 4:23-24 instructs us. In the context of that passage, Jesus was responding to the Samaritan woman at the well. She had asked him about their worship which was offered on the mountain (Mt. Gerizim) rather than Jerusalem, as the Jews told them they must do. Jesus' response commended neither the Jew nor the Samaritan. The Jew's worship, which may have been in the proper location, often lacked the right spirit. (Matt 15:8) The Samaritan's worship, which may have been offered in the right spirit, lacked truth. God desires His worshipers to do so in spirit and truth.

We strive to worship God with the right spirit - one of reverence and humility - as well in truth, meaning only as our New Testament Bibles authorize us. We add nothing nor take anything away from what we see patterned in the New Testament church of the first century. Feel free to visit with us anytime!
