Westerly Dive Boat

The Westerly Dive Boat is recreational SCUBA dive boat and learning platform. Built in the early 70's by the founders of Body Glove—the Meistrell brothers, they ran the Westerly for a before Jim Ingram took the wheel and made her a the premier southern California dive boat frequently hitting ALL the spots from Palos Verde to San Nicolas Island (famous for "lone woman of San Nicolas" as memorialized in the the book Island of the Blue Dolphin) and used to film the original Bay Watch TV series and many Shark Week adventures. Jim eventually retired and the Westerly's new owner used her for fishing for a few years. Business was not going well and I (Joseph) stepped in....rebuilding her for the sole purpose of furthering the dive legend Jim Ingram began.
