Wheeler County Crime Stoppers

Wheeler County Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization created to assist law enforcement by providing anonymous tips. These tips must be called into the Wheeler County Crime Stoppers hotline at 806-826-0227. This call center is not located in Wheeler County and is not affiliated with the Wheeler County Sheriff's Office or Shamrock Police Department. By the call center not being located within Wheeler County, the tipsters can call in tips involving criminal activities or wanted fugitives without worrying about their identity being compromised. Crime Stoppers does offer rewards in some circumstances if the information provided leads to the arrest of a fugitive or information given proves credible and leads to the arrest and/or conviction of a criminal or property being recovered. Rewards vary in amounts.
Wheeler County Crime Stoppers operates on grants, fundraising, and donations. Everyone affiliated with Wheeler County Crime Stoppers are volunteers. Donations are accepted and appreciated.
