The Whidbey Playhouse is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. The Playhouse membership has gatherings throughout the year for members to get together and just have fun. Watch our website for information on the next fabulous gathering and join in the fun.
You are welcome to come a time or two “just to visit” and if you like it, the cost is only $20 individual or $35 family for the year!

We often have a program of something or someone of interest to the membership. It’s fun and entertaining, too. We’d love to see you there!

Currently, the Whidbey Playhouse produces five shows (plays & musicals) during the regular season (September through June) plus our youth theatre program including workshops and our off-season productions.

Auditions are open to everyone (regardless of experience) and are usually held 45 to 60 days prior to the opening of a show.

Season shows generally run 14 performances for musicals and 11 for non-musicals, scheduled usually on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, plus at least three matinees, usually on Sunday afternoon.

Participation “behind the scenes” is also encouraged. There is always a need for ushers, set builders, costumers, stagehands, etc. Volunteer today! On or off the stage, Whidbey Playhouse is fun!
