The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.57% White, 0.96% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.71% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.44% from other races, and 1.23% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.29% of the population.There were 2,199 households out of which 19.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.1% were married couples living together, 6.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% were non-families. 26.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
