Hello my name is Charlotte Nightingale; founder of WhisperingNomadArt, curator of beautiful things and endless creative adventurer.

I like to call my style of art dabbling. I'm always trying out new things, getting bored of my technique; putting something down, picking something up, and consistently being inspired by all the ways you can take your own creative voice.

I've been a creator as long as I can remember; but what really got me started and to where I am now is my interest in sacred geometry. I was so impressed with the notion of using shapes to perfectly create other shapes, and how these mathematical principles govern our very reality. (You can see how geometry has inspired me throughout my creative work, as far back as 9th grade art class. )
Sacred geometry ultimately led to drawing mandalas, and from there I remembered my once fond love of dreamcatchers. Dreamcatchers morphed into macrame, and soon everything blended into one... bringing us to here :)

But why WhisperingNomadArt?
To me, everyone has a little bit of adventure in them. Everyone has that little whisper in the back of their mind saying there has to be more than this. What is the purpose?
I found my purpose in creating. Creating is what gives me life. I can lose myself for hours and hours zoned into a project, and on the flip side hours and hours at 'work' can seem like years.
It is my dream to one day be able to create only, and finally give in to my own inner whisper craving freedom, detachment, and fulfillment.
I like to think that each piece I create carries a little bit of that dream to whomever receives it; that each piece can help to bring whatever dreams and aspirations to the surface so that they may be actualized.
