History

White River Buddhist Temple was established over a hundred years ago. Its founders and pioneers, originally from Japan, settled in the historic White River Valley area.

Historically the Temple has been a portal to the surrounding community. An example is the popular annual Bon Odori summer festival. This is a great time for the public to share our culture and Dharma.

WRBT also provides two other fundraisers to the community. The Spring fundraiser and the Fall Bazaar.
