Founded in 1929 by the late E.W. Wiggins, Sr., Wiggins Airways has been in the forefront in aviation growth in the Northeast since its inception. In 1942, Wiggins Airways provided military flight training during WW II in Concord NH. Wiggins Airways acquired Cape & Islands Flight Service in 1968 providing “air-taxi” services. In 1982, Wiggins Airways became an employee owned company. In 1986 Wiggins Airways became one of seven FedEx Feeder Aircraft Operations. In 1988, Wiggins Airways began flight operations in support of United Parcel Service as a Feeder Operator. In 1997, Wiggins Airways bought Stead Aviation at the Manchester Airport and relocated the company to Manchester, NH. By 2014, Wiggins Airways had 48 aircraft and over 150 employees.
