Wildflower Boutique Motel

The Wildflower takes root! A new boutique motel, Wildflower, is beginning to grow on the Northern California Coast.

Just as the spring wildflowers follow the winter rains, what was once a closed and deteriorating motel has been renamed, and will be totally remodeled and re-imagined. The motel’s interior and exterior will emphasize and celebrate the beauty of the wildflowers and native plants found in Mendocino County.

With the recent addition of the nearby Stornetta Public Lands to the California Coastal National Monument, the tiny town of Point Arena, the place we now call home, is blossoming as well!

These are the cornerstones upon which we have built our vision to provide the best in hospitality for our guests. With a focus on local sourcing, a healthy and hearty complimentary breakfast will be offered with consideration given to vegetarian and vegan options. Additional amenities will include high speed WiFi access, flat screen high definition LED TV’s, and device docking stations. You might be so comfortable staying with us that you’ll forget you’re away from home!

From our commitment to eco-friendly renovation, to our choice of linens, furnishings and our daily activities, we are dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact and focusing on sustainable practices. We are building a memorable "home away from home" for our friends, old and new, whose travels bring them to this remote and ruggedly beautiful stretch of the Mendocino coast.
