More about Wildlife Management News

"If you own or manage private land anywhere in the world, or want to, then you should subscribe to Wildlife Management News Magazine. They bring you cutting edge knowledge and techniques to better your land and entire habitat." Dr. James Kroll, aka "Dr. Deer"

Wildlife Management News is your source for unbiased wildlife management tips, tricks, and techniques to help improve your property for hunting game.

Jim Holbert founded Wildlife Management News in 2008. As an avid outdoorsman and a regular backwoods Pennsylvanian, Jim has practiced wildlife management since he was a child. Though he humbly says he’s not qualified, Jim studied biology in college and retains a wealth of detailed knowledge for everything outdoors. He has made an impressive list of friendships inside the wildlife community including those of Dr. James Kroll (Dr. Deer), Dr. Gary Alt and many more. Wildlife Management News started as a small newsletter for Montrose Pennsylvania, and has developed into a full scale subscriber based magazine that brings you the wildlife management news for your region. Articles written by local people as well as expert biologists allow you to see what you should be interacting with your habitat and help you get involved in the process of wildlife management.

Mark Peretore joined Jim in 2014 and will begin to take on the role as chief editor in 2015. Mark Peretore has been an outdoor enthusiast his entire life. He began hunting at a young age and has never looked back. Hunting all game, Mark has gained a depth of field knowledge that is only learned from hands on experience. Mark is an accountant by trade, and with his business background, had teamed up with Jim to become the CEO and Editor of Wildlife Management News. Under management of Mark, Wildlife Management News is growing steadily and will be bringing much more than just a magazine to people who subscribe. Lately, the introduction of the website www.wildlifemanagementnews.com and electronic publications through e-book readers and cell phones will diversify the way you can interact with the Wildlife Management News Magazine.
