Children today are growing up in a world in which they are often entertained, but
seldom engaged. They are constantly surrounded by and in contact with other people, yet increasingly feel alone. They are often encouraged to embrace momentary pleasure but seldom instructed on how to develop life building principles. Many parents recognize these concerns, but find few willing to support them in the positive development of their children.
Here at Willow Hills Baptist Church, we not only share these concerns, but also share your desire to make a difference in children's lives. In fact, this is the very purpose of our Sunday evening AWANA ministry. Our AWANA ministry provides a fun, safe environment where kids can engage with other kids while being supported and encouraged by caring adults. Each week, through games, bible study, and close adult/child interaction that allows kids to learn at their own pace- children are able to develop physically, morally and socially. And not only that, they will have a great time doing it.
