Wilson Bros. Nursery

Since 1988, Wilson Bros. Nursery is a one-stop-shop nursery and garden center located at 1759 McGarity Road in McDonough, Georgia. The nursery is open to the public 7 days a week! We also provide professional landscape design and installation services through our sister company: Wilson Bros Landscape.

Since opening in 1989, Wilson Bros Nursery and Garden Center has grown from its original size of 1.5 acres to about 5 acres in size. With acres of flowers, shrubs, trees, perennials, and herbs, Wilson Bros Nursery has everything you need to create a garden masterpiece. Everywhere you look, another exciting color, texture, or fragrance triggers your senses. And when inspiration strikes, our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you find the best plants for your home's terrain, as well as the supplies you need to bring your vision to life.

With a wealth of experience in the field of horticulture, it means you can trust Wilson Bros Nursery to bring you plants and flowers that will thrive in our local soil and climate. Through our landscape design-build division: Wilson Bros Landscape, custom design services are available to meet your exact needs at very reasonable prices that can meet almost any budget.

A Little History...

The founders, twin brothers Brent and Brooks Wilson, began their careers in 1980 when they launched a lawn care company in the small town of Jackson, Georgia, south of Atlanta. They have worked side-by-side ever since.

In 1988, the brothers began looking for property to open a nursery and garden center. They found and purchased the original 1-acre piece of property located on McGarity Road, 3 miles east of the city of McDonough. Since then, the nursery has grown to almost 5 acres in size.

Greenhouses at NurseryThanks to the help and hard work from their family (the Wilson brothers mother and father worked at the nursery for the first few years), its highly-skilled staff members, and its customers/friends, the brothers have watched the nursery grow ever since.

OUR MISSION...

Did you ever wonder when you were shopping at the Mega Home Center how you could be so alone in that huge place? Questions are a part of the plant business; answers are our part of the nursery business. Hanging up a sign on a corner of the parking lot does not make a Nursery. At Wilson Bros Nursery, we pride ourselves on our knowledge of plant material, landscape design, lawn care, weed and pest control and everything else gardening. But most of all we are proud of the quality and selection of our trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials, herbs, tropicals and other types of plants at prices that out-discount the "discounters."

So, our mission is to provide you with the most accurate information and the highest quality plants and products at the best prices you need to accomplish your landscaping, lawn and garden projects. We're always at your service!
