Winding River Karate

Owned and operated by Pal Dan (8th Degree Master) and Hu Kyun In (Guardian of the Art) committee member, F. S. Schermerhorn Sa Bom Nim, who trains directly under H.C. Hwang, Kwan Jang Nim (The Grandmaster). Sa Bom Nim Schermerhorn has been training since 1972, and achieved Cho Dan (1st Degree Midnight Blue "Black" Belt) in 1976, and Pal Dan (8th Degree) in 2013.

Winding River is the original Tang Soo Do school in the Binghamton, NY area. Often imitated but never duplicated, Winding River has been committed to serving its mission statement of "building self confidence and self-esteem" alongside offering self defense and connection to the authentic Moo Duk Kwan system.
