Windwood Equestrian

Windwood Equestrian is located just outside of Birmingham, Alabama in Shelby County on Highway 11 in Pelham. Born from a passion for horses and show jumping, the facility has grown into a world-class equestrian property. Built as a training and stabling facility for beginners and competitive riders alike, the barns and training amenities are nestled into a rolling, wooded valley surrounded by riding trails. There’s a real community at Windwood; boarders, student riders, families, staff, and friends participate in local and national competitions and gather frequently for parties and events on the property.

Our latest venture, Windwood Weddings, offers couples the opportunity to celebrate their marriage in a unique setting surrounded by horses, lush fields, and magnificent trees that keep time with the seasons. Windwood offers a striking backdrop, perfect for photography and matchless in the area.
