A few of their accomplishments include Dr. Steve Fendley becoming the first to offer a single site robotic gallbladder removal, a da Vinci-assisted colectomy for the treatment of colon disease and a da Vinci robotic hernia repair. Dr. Scott Robbins and Dr. Brad Marker started the Bariatric Surgical Weight Loss program at Flowers Hospital and have held themselves to some of the highest standards in the industry. Dr. Burton Pfeiffer was the first Board Certified vascular surgeon in the area, centering on comprehensive vascular care. He specializes in minimally invasive techniques and in the treatment of complex vascular problems. Our newest partner, Dr. Emily Cannon, has introduced a unique dynamic to our practice as the first and only female general surgeon in Dothan. She completed her training at UAB during which time she received several awards for her accomplishments.
