Wise Steward Farm

Wise Steward Farm was started by Richard & Pamela LeBlanc and their four children, Ricky, Jason, Hannah, and Beth. Though we have owned this land for over 10 years, we only just moved here in September of 2006 from Clearwater, Florida. Everyone in the family helps out with the chores around the farm. Dad works off the farm during the day, and Mom stays at home as a homemaker and homeschools the children. We have five Austrailian Shepherds(Prissy, Moses, Mordecai, Tilly, & Miriam) and one Beagle(Joseph). We also have a farm cat which we found on our land a few years back as a kitten(Shadow). In Spring of 2007 we got our first order of chicks from Murray McMurray hatchery. June of 2007 saw our addition of 4 guinea fowl keets to the farm. And in April of 2009 Mom & Dad decided to buy a Holstein/Jersey bull calf from Happy Cow Creamery. He was about 11 days old, and we had a good time learning about calf care and feeding. He didn't originally have a name because we were planning on eating him, so we just called him by nicknames. But now we call him Mr Moo or Moo. In July of 2010 we were blessed to receive 3 peafowl from Hickory Hill in Thomson.
