WKCYS

WKCYS is a noprofit, 501c3, program with a current focus on basketball. We are working on building a volleyball and dodgeball program and a summer program is also in the works.We want there to always be a safe place for the kids in our community to go. Our goal is to reach as many kids as possible and not only teach them the fundamentals of basketball but the fundamentals of sportsmanship, honesty, respect, and to show them how much they are cared about and loved. The gym is in Ingram, Texas and the majority of our kids lack transportation and money to play basketball in Kerrville, one town over, which houses a bigger league. WKCYS does not turn down players because they cannot pay the registration fee, for lack of skill, or because we have too many kids, and we accept players from ANY area of the Hill Country. Many times you will hear the board quote, “all kids play,” which is something we have stood by since day one. No child is turned down, and no family is pushed aside.
