In environmental education, the outdoors is the classroom. At Wolf Ridge, our classroom is spectacular. Located on a ridge overlooking Lake Superior, Wolf Ridge occupies nearly 2,000 acres. Bordered by the tumbling Baptism River, the campus features a meandering creek, two pristine lakes, two high peaks, 18 miles of trails, and a mixed forest of maple, birch and spruce. Pine marten, eagles, moose, black bear, whitetail deer, foxes, wolves, beavers, peregrine falcons, loons, and other wildlife share the campus. The facilities include two dormitories, five classroom buildings, a dining hall, an energy center, a ski chalet, an administration building, a raptor aviary, a library, two rock-climbing walls, and two high ropes courses.
