Women of Faith/A Spiritual Website

Three years ago I walked into a church that I still go to today. The messages were a little off and there wasn't much noise, not even clapping for people after they spoke. You could really hear a pin drop. The people were very sweet and attentive to anyone knew who walked in the door. That was very nice especially since I came alone and didn't know anybody. At that time I was new in the city and I was not looking for anything exciting to happen. Actually, I came to this city not knowing the calm that was here. It turned out to be very therapeutic for me. The church however, I really needed more from it. The problem was that I thought there would be a women's ministry that I could sink my spiritual teeth into and then I found out that there wasn't. I never saw or heard any women speaking even a little bit in this church. Besides being with the children the women never speak a word except in fellowship and that was not what I knew of the scripture. I have never attended a church service or belonged to a church that didn't have a visible, working, women's ministry.

I spoke with the ministers and some of the women and they told me that they believe the Bible says for women not to speak in church. Well I knew better than that. A simple misinterpretation can really fool people into believing that we have a God who hasn't forgiven us for our sins. The scripture in 1 Corinthians 14 was speaking to the married women in the service in the 1st Century Christian Church. They were being told by Paul not to speak because they were causing a disturbance in the worship service and if they wanted to ask questions, they were to go home and ask their husbands. This was only because they were causing a disturbance. Now, if you are not married you cannot ask your husband anything because you have no husband. This misinterpretation of women not speaking in church is a false doctrine and I made many steps to change many things in this church. The Bible Talk, Spoke on women's day, started a website and many, many other things that God has led me to do.

Now that I am established as a Speaker and Author I can keep on speaking up for programs and godly encouragement for the churches. I have spoken to them about it but they also believe that a woman cannot speak because they were deceived first in the garden of Eden. This is not a reason to keep women from speaking and leading. God was cultivating a new Spirit and that new Spirit is now dedicated to the development of Women's Ministries in as many churches and women's associations as possible. Women have many groups around the world but there are those that don't' and that's where Pink Inc.! comes in.

Women of Faith/A Spiritual Website and Pink Inc.! are devoted to starting women's ministry wherever one is needed or desired. We have a great plan to get started and there are wonderful programs to be a part of.
