Wood Fire is a romantic restaurant in a beautiful little town, lovingly restored. More than half of our menu is cooked in our imported wood burning oven. Our building was built in 1869 as a hardware store. Using antique techniques, we built everything but the chairs. All materials are maple or mahogany, and the effect is wonderful. Inside Wood Fire is a complete feast for the senses. The only thing that smokes in the Wood Fire is our oven. The clean air carries the sweet smell of cedar burning under a salmon filet, garlic roasting on the oven floor, and all of the other delicacies of the kitchen. Our walls are adorned with a rotating art gallery managed by Art Exposed Gallery. Our live music features the great American song book, leaning heavily to the romantic standards. On Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday nights the Wood Fire features live jazz with some blues accents. In all, Wood Fire is often described as the finest dining experience in the area.
