Wood Junkies

The backdrop to my fondest memories growing up are on a construction site or sitting in my fathers workshop watching, listening and learning. From a young age I was drawn to tinkering, fixing and building. Like my father i developed that passion into my dream job. My desire to create has grown and changed as products evolved and became more versatile. I LOVE creating beautiful textures, faux finishes and getting back to my roots in furniture restoration and painting. Pushing the boundaries of design and creating distinguishable pieces that encourage artistic growth are what I enjoy most.
"Creating heals the soul"... I don't know who said this, but it's absolutely the truest thing in the world. Creating heals my soul and rejuvenates this tired mama. Experiencing others souls being restored as they learn to create has been the most fulfilling part of my job. By passing on the knowledge I've gained through teaching workshops i hope to encourage others to heal themselves.
