Woodburn Golf Club

The golf course is 9 holes on 31.95 acres; 2346 yards; sand greens (even though sand, still called greens); Par is 33 for men and 36 for women.

It is the only sand green course in the Willamette Valley. Initially the greens were smoothed dirt. Later the greens were covered with sand, and to this day sand is used instead of the customary short grass. The golf course was first laid out and play commenced in 1925. The Woodburn Golf Club was incorporated in 1934.

The course is an excellent place to learn to play and practice, as well as being challenging for experienced golfers.

Green Fees:
Current fees are $7.00 for nine holes, $10.00 for 18 holes, $3.00 for juniors, or an annual fee of $175.00 for unlimited golf.

Basic Information:
The course is open for year around play. There are no tee times. Play is on a first come basis.
The course is closed for the Men’s Club each Wednesday morning, and for the Women’s Club each Thursday morning from April through October.

The property has a 950 sq. ft. clubhouse with restrooms and kitchen facilities. The clubhouse and course are available for group rentals with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Special Event: The Oregon Sand Green Open Tournament is held on an annual basis.
