FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

Q: Where are you located?
A: 3580 S Lakeshore Rd. Buffalo, NY 14219

Q: What is the price per car?
A: There is a $7 parking fee per car.

Q: What hours do you charge?
A: Gate hours are from 10:00am until 7:00pm. May change for special events such as 4th of July fireworks.

Q: Are there lifeguards on duty?
A: Lifeguards are on duty from 10:00am until 7:30pm.

Q: Is the water tested?
A: Yes, the water is tested daily and we do our best to post if the water is open or closed on our Facebook page. However you can always call to ask us at 716-826-1930

Q: What is Pirate’s Cove?
A: A bounce house area for the kids!

Q: How much is Pirate’s Cove?
A: $5 gets your child a wristband to go on the bounce houses all day. The bounce houses are open from 11am until 6pm (weather permitting).

Q: Can my child wear arm floaties? Can they bring rafts/tubes into the water?
A: Flotation devices must be coast guard certified for them to be permitted in the water. This means that water wings, inner tubes, or anything that is blown up with air is not allowed in the water. However, boogies boards with a strap and kick boards are allowed. These specifications are for your safety and the safety of others.

Q: Are pets allowed on the beach?
A: Unfortunately we do not allow pets on the beach.

Q: Do you have a season pass?
A: Yes we do! The season pass is $50, however if you buy it the day you are at the beach and bring your parking pass into the Treasure Island Gift Shop we will take the $7 off and charge $43.

Q: Is there a discount for Hamburg residents?
A: No there is not.

Q: Is there a discount for senior citizens?
A: Yes, Monday through Friday anyone over the age of 62 get in for free. Just show your ID to the attendant at the gate.

Q: Do you allow coolers?
A: We do allow coolers on the beach.

Q: Do you allow grills on the beach?
A: We do not allow grills on the beach. We have a picnic area for grills.

Q: Where is the picnic area?
A: The picnic area is also called the Grove. It’s towards the north end of the beach and it does have beach access. It is used on a first come, first served. There are grills and picnic benches in there to be used. Sometimes it will be rented out by a private party so please call ahead of time so your family plans aren't ruined if you arrive at the beach and are not able to use the picnic area.

Q: Do you have shelters?
A: Sorry, no shelters.

Q: Is there a bar on the beach?
A: Yes! The Woodlawn Beach Tiki Bar! There number is 716-860-8186 and they also have a Facebook Page!

Q: I want to rent out the Lodge at Woodlawn or I’m thinking about a wedding there. Who do I contact?
