Woodlawn High School is a four-year public high school in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. Woodlawn High School opened in the fall of 1961. Prior to that, students in the area attended Catonsville, Milford Mill or Franklin High Schools. In the fall of 2017, Woodlawn will offer an Early College Program to help students prepare for a university education. There over 40 various extracurriculars, sports, programs, and activities to incoming and current students. Woodlawn achieved international notoriety from the popular Serial podcast, an investigation of the 1999 murder of Hae Min Lee and conviction of Adnan Syed.School LocationWoodlawn High School sits on a little over 55acre in western Baltimore County. The main building, which was built in 1961, is roughly 195000sqft in size.
